Overlooking both Jordanelle and Deer Creek Reservoirs, the Marcella project includes a water tank and vault that will serve a new Tiger Woods-designed golf course and a future surrounding luxury residential community.

Blasting

Excavation for a tank with surveyors determining the correct elevations and a center point for the tank.

Whats Next…

After blasting and excavation, we prepare the site by verifying elevations, perform testing, and placing the proper aggregate and base materials to create a stable foundation for the tank.

Now we tie rebar, form the perimeter, and pour pipe encasements.

Floor Pour

Starting at 2am pouring the floor will take anywhere from 7-10+ hours depending on concrete trucks. This pour was around 360 yards.

First Wall Pour

Starting at the bottom, concrete is poured through openings in the forms to ensure each elevation is completely filled with no gaps. The concrete is placed in stages, or rises, allowing each section to begin setting up while preventing excessive pressure on the forms as the pour progresses upward.
